TomTom's Trench Warfare

Hey Guys its WaterSpear here, after I did the review on Danny Boy's TDM, readers told that I need to write a review for TomTom's server.(which I have referenced many times)So here is the cheese:

TomTom is a big guy in event Add-on making, and has taking these aspects into his server, to make a dramatic effect in quality. First there is many weapons on this server that you find all over the place including the Sniper Rifle, ShotGun, sMG's, Grenades, other variants of all the stated, and also daily featured weapons that are either on sale, or one of a kind for the server. Also besides the large array of weapons, there is some great features like having a load/save items os you don't go through the entire pickup every time you spawn(unlike DrenDran's old server). There is another great feature that will probably change the way we do trench servers, basically if you turn your light on you respawn as a builder and then you are invincibly but have no weapons but your tools. This feature allows players to build as much as they like without having the troubles or worries of being killed and having to start all over again. Then, there is other various features like an autoloader, kill-streaks, a great points system, and a Comedic programmed server chatbot, that is mostly controlled by the host, but is still pretty smart on it's own.

So, if you like trench warfare, with the state of the art server quality, a great kind host, awesome weapons, and pretty much FPS, this is one of the best servers for you I personally give this a 4-5/5, but my friend RetroZon gives it 5/5 in the Gameplay of it all. So we recommend this server for all you guys out there who are always having trouble finding a TDM server you can trust that TomTom's Trench WarFare will be up!

Sign Ups!

Hello everyone, in the last few days we have decided to change a few things that we are doing here. Well the first you may see by the name of the post is that we are hosting Sign Ups all this weekend, and we will be accepting job applications from now on. Also, we will now stop using all our "Short-Cuts" and "Tricks" to do as little decent content as possible. Now, with many new writers we hope to get more posts, more content, less of the "Click the link to find more", and more On-The-Spot information.

Now, about the job applications. First, every writer here needs to post a rough draft through a finished crisp fine post at least once every two weeks. Also, we will change/alter the post to our fitting if we like, we may not post every submission we receive from our fellow writers, so don't get upset because we did not allow your post about kalphiter's New Minigame GUI, and if any are sent in not complete, or correctly we will take your idea into consideration but not post any of the content we receive.

Another change we are making is that we will Make one thread (A new one every few weeks really) for showcasing all the posts, and articles.

If you would like to send in an Application, please send it listing your experience with blockland, your experience in blogging/posting/writing, and any extra little details you may want to include. To send it to the Chronicle, Please Email us at this address: Blocklandnews@gmail.com or if you have a Blockland forums account please Send a private message to my dear friend WaterSpear.

We are also accepting sign ups, for this weekend! If you sign up then you are immediately in the group of writers and are allowed to send in submissions for posts, except this will be temporarily because if you do not meet our standards then you will get kicked. Please send in your Application and other sign-up information as a reply to our Forums post, a Private message to WaterSpear, or an email to "Blocklandnews@gmail.com"

Thank You Guys!

News Update! [first]

Hey guys, its us here at the blockland chronicle just trying to say that we are sorry for not doing a post recently. Anyways, as you notice the head title says "News Update" which will be are *pretty much the only thin we could do* weekly post, not including all the extras like reviews, videos, and other stuff. Also, these "News Updates" will consist of the most popular servers at that time, summary of some add-ons that become released, and the occasional forum topic worth sharing with you guys. So here is the magic.

So far this week: Spade's SWAT vs Terrorists, Red_Guys Unlimited Mining*, and Count's TKE: Grapple Knife TDM have been up and staying in the top 10 and 5 servers all this week.

*For all those mining/red guy fans out there reply "WOOHOO! I <3 Red_Guy's U-mining!"

Also, the only decent mentionable add-ons pack that was released recently was (in my preference) This Halo Weapons Pack, by Midway Sentinel which also were used at **one of my favorite servers** Danny Boy's Halo 3 TDM. Get this HERE

Danny Boy's Halo 3 TDM

Hey Guys, We have all been seeing the rise of TDM'sn that are coming from DrenDran, and Danny Boy. Well, I would like to say Danny Boy only, since his "Halo 3 TDM" server has been ranking to and past the popularity and quality of TomTom's Trench TDM. Anyways, so here the big stuff that make Danny Boy's server "Popular":
1.It is based on an other video game
2.It has custom made models and items, that blend with the classic Blockland content.
3.For the usual server if this type, it has a lot less bugs, glitches, and hackers in general.
4.Well, I can just say that there is no way to become "Super-Skilled" in this game, thus evening the challenge and gameplay overall

So yes, this server includes 4 standard weapons, Short range, long ranged, and semi-overpowered (but still hard to use) medium ranged weapons. Then there is spawns for Snipers, shotguns, and other weapons relating to the Halo Franchise. Also, it doesn't take much skill the win, but there no way to 100% Guarantee that you can easily get a decent Kill-Death ratio. So because of the even challenge, but also the many hackers or cheaters(Even Team killers) Gives me the rating of 3.5/5 stars!

Truces Throw Mod...Chaos or new gametype?

Hello, everyone. We have all noticed the new servers up based on Nobot's Truces new "Throw Mod" which includes clicking on players at right timing to pick them up and clicking again to throw them. So far the only servers up are Unknown_Blocko's Throw Mod(using V2, which is clicking someone while crouched and throwing them at walls to kill) and Winner's Throw Mod (Using V3 which does not require clicking while crouched, and the way to kill is by throwing other players at "Kill-zones"). Which of coarse both servers are Dedicated, and they have 5-10 players on them most the time.

These throw mod games are very fun to play, and are starting to thrive past the popularity of knife TDM's, which of coarse are the #3 most popular gametypes. These games do not require much skill besides clicking fast and repeatedly, and are much fun to play, so we give this gametype 4/5 stars!

Currently we are working on a video and trying to make it easier in the future to make them for the Chronicle. The Video will be an article consisting of all the hidden locations in the default maps: Bedroom, Kitchen, and Slopes.(Respectively)

Welcome To The Chronicle!

Welcome To The Chronicle everybody, as you see I have not posted much here but I will in the next few days. Before I start posting I will have to get the "News Stand" Setup in my server to test all of the functions, and get back to playing Blockland a LOT to get useful info.

Thank you everyone who helped make this blog successful. I have worked hard on getting this domain up and getting all the accounts up...and...It has finally paid off.
